looking at the description on slingshot website,, why don't they include the surface area of the wings,,as in cm sq? does anyone know what they are? not saying it is the most important tech spec but just seems like handy info to have. i wonder how the phantasm will work for folks who like to switch from kite to wing,,, like using same mast but switching out wings.

Im glad i didn't wait around for these.
Plus, website sucks again. ( they all are bad, so not singling out Slingshot).
That original pdf gave me high hopes, anyone have an updated version of it that presents the new range?

Hi Tom....I don't disagree with you on this and since they are still developing and finishing up the rest of the range of products, it might be a while until a new PDF with the full range is released.

As a dealer, we are all hoping for more info sooner than later, but it might be a while. No promises. Covid for sure had a hand in some of the delays with Phantasm.

I will say this though. I get to deal with a lot of different companies and Slingshot's service is the best out there.

When things go wrong, they are super easy to deal with and fast.

I cannot say that for all other brands and some who are foil specific.

They tend to get things much more right than wrong and love working with Slingshot on a day by day basis.

I'll get my 633 Phantasm soon (in a few days ) and I'll answer any questions you might all have once I get it in my hands.

I hope this helps.

When I got mine 590 and 633 back in beginning of 2018 I also couldn’t find area of the wings - I just calculated it myself. Not only area is important - the profile thickness is important too as well as aspect ratio.

viewtopic.php?p=1005483#p1005483

My assumption is 633 is same 1250 sq.cm and 657 is about 700 sq.cm. Anyone with piece of paper, pencil, ruler and a calculator/excel can do all a favor and post the area

Slingshot didn’t publish area to anyone, dealers included

I rode the 590 in 2018, then got the 633 shortly after ( moses). Rode the 590 50 hours, the 633 200 hours, then Looking forward to 900-1000cm2 big but higher aspect wing with performance. The leaked pdf had 2 wings that looked really interesting..im waiting.

Send it to ifixit guys to cut the mast to witness the internal ribs.

Seriously, what about the noodle mast buzz test -- I wonder why almost none of foil reviewers perform it.

Got to do a beach demo of the new foil. The 92 and 102 masts are super stiff and VERY light weight. I was impressed. I suspect as time goes on we will see more wings and masts join the line up.

Hey Oregonkiter. Glad you had the opportunity to use the new Slingshot Phantasm foil products. Lucky you. The masts sound excellent. Did you get a chance to use the foils? Is the new 633 the same size as the old? Opinion?
Thank you.
