2020 Dwarfcraft 3'6" vs 4'6"

For a bit of a different perspective, there's been a few cheap 3'6 here but I wouldn't buy one now because they're a bit too big. Unless you're a complete beginner smaller is better in my experience.

Yes I ride a 100cm X 42cm board (carbonco Nang) in all conditions and don't see the need for an extra 6cm to 3'6".

In fact I've just ordered an Axis Tray which is 94cm X 48cm. I think that's a good length.

I purchased a 3'6" because my 37" board doesn't allow me to get my weight far enough forward for top speed riding. It works fine for moderate speeds but it's difficult to get the right stance to go fast on such a short board.

Just picked up a board and to my surprise it only has front and back inserts. Going through all Slingshot marketing info it clearly has three front strap positions with multiple inserts for each.
I've briefly seen two of these boards and I'm pretty sure one had two front straps.

Sales rep is telling me he contacted Slingshot and they told him all of them only have one front and back???

Marketing material is wrong. Sales rep is right. There is no version of a micro in 2020 that has three front foot straps.

2021 new versions have three I believe.

Shame on slingshot for not correcting their images. You are not the first to find out the hard way.

Does the lower volume make it a better board?

Trent.....the lower volume has several advantages.

It will "sit" in the water a little easier (water starting) when riding strapless and it will also be a little more responsive if pumping, etc.

I also ride strapped and cannot ride with 1 front strap if jumping. I have to have 2 in front, but that's me.
