Again today in more wind and 90 min with the 40cm kite stabilizer. I got more used to it, but still feel it loses drive going fast and powered into carve upwind. I found I have to do more pivot turn with the wing, not driving thru in smooth arc. Have to keep wing flatter in water during tacks.
Its slightly faster and does quick s turns better.
Roll, yaw is looser and pitch just a bit more sensitive.
Gong sent my new 100cm mast and Veloce wings today. I'll try both veloce wings and M pro wings with longer mast as I'm venting wing as I lean over into upwind carve.
Will also try veloce 43 cm stab with m pro wing.

Tom, very good intel, thanks!
How does the setup recover when breaching out of the water/ventilating? Onda 633 does this very well and I find it very useful, and I can ride extended period if wanted to on top of the water and getting back in to the water goes smoothly. Please report your feedback on the new setup of yours as well.
Good winds!

The Moses 633 memory is fading. My feeling is breaching recovery is same, but my immediate feeling on the mpro with surf stab was it didn't want to beach as much, is less sensitive to underwater turbulence and overtaking waves, gong wouldn't react as much to water turbulence. And at top speeds the gong doesn't lift off like 633.

Will be interested to hear comparison with the alu masts. Not clear from the Gong website, but is your mast/fuselage compatible with veloce wings AND MPro wing?

Tom, which Veloce wings did you get? I ordered the Veloce XL and 47cm stabilizer back on May 22nd (really for winging foiling instead kitefoiling) and it looks like I’ll be waiting till the end of July before anything ships

It wasn't clear to me that the Veloce was considered a "surf wing".
