Ive been foiling 3+ years on moses foils. Last 2 years on the 633 wing. I really like the 633.
Recently bought a Gong M Pro with 90 cm mast and 40 cm stab. I can highly recommended this foil to learn and progress on. It's less than 1/3 the cost of the moses.

I just ordered one, what's the lowest wind your getting out on with the 9m hyperlink ultralight?

If I have solid 5-6ms it's OK.. But if wind is not going over 6-7ms I'll take my Hyperlink V2 13m.

Im selling my Moses 633 complete carbon setup for 800 E if still interested. I want to try 790 and shorter mast this is reason for selling. Gong is good value but weight is just too much /for me/.

Tomtom, I thought weight was going to be big deal too. I was very sceptical. But after using the Gong mpro with 90cm mast, that extra 500g is nothing to worry about.
The wings are significantly more durable than moses too.
And at the price, I could upgrade every year if they manage to create better wings. I think they hit the sweet spot on the mpro.

What would be the cheapest and still good quality foil and mast configuration to learn on?
I am kiting mainly in relatively low wind, no waves in general.
I see there are surf foils and kite foils, the big ones marked for surf, can they still be used for kiting(and are they easier to learn on)?

I have Neil Pryde Small and Medium wings and they worked great to learn on. At the beginning I also bought a Cisimove chinese foil off of AliExpress. I bought it before I realized there were different size wings for different activities and it pretty much just sat in the garage. But right now I'm learning transitions and that cheap chinese foil with the huge wing (90cm across) is stable as a rock!! It's making learning foot switches and gybes much easier. After I get those down I'll switch back to my NP. If I could find a Large or XLarge Neil Pryde Surf wing I'd buy it, but can't find anyone who has them in stock (new or used).
