Anything I get that is steal will rust and have a limited life span. My good steal t handle set and ratchets stay at home.
The t handles and d handles in t40 are too big to spin on the mast attachment to the board. Even the t30 will knock the mast.
These l keys do not.
The ratchets in stainless are expensive, the non stainless won’t last.
Stainless screwdriver does not give you enough purchase to really tighten.
I can put stainless tools in my bag and take it to the beach if I need to fine adjust things and not worry about rust.
Steel tools will leave behind some residue and you will see more rust on your stainless screws as a result.
The stainless l keys have some heft but do not spin like t handles but they are easy to spin by hand quickly. They are also lighter which can be an advantage when traveling. On my last trip I was a .1 lbs from overweight on both my bags,
I admire that you take everything apart, blow out all the water and wipe it all down with a chamois.
I don’t but occasionally I do take it all apart, just not at the beach.
But with my current vehicle I do have to take the mast off and on each time so I need something quick to turn a few whole turns but long enough to do a final torque.
