Looks like others are jumping on a gap in the forum market

there's a few out there I know of, add-ons to existing forums:

https://www.standupzone.com/forum/index ... ,91.0.html

https://www.foilfeed.net/forums/forum/wing-foiling-2/

Both of these are non-wind chaser forums ... seems to me that'll be the biggest chunk of the people using wings, those who don't already kite or windsurf. Kinda like when snowboarding came along, a lot expert skiers didn't see enough benefit to invest the time/money to cross over.

If there would be way more topics about wings, it would make sense.
Remember before we had the hydrofoil forum?
More and more topics about foil...then it made sense to add it.
Currently I know about 3 topics...much better to keep it in hydrofoil

I find myself spending much more time on the other sites than kiteforum. Tired of having to sort through the wing vs kite comparisons to get wing specific info here. None of that going on at the other sites.

But isn't this how it always works?

If you want to read or discuss hydrofoil, you also have to visit the main forum instead of the hydrofoil forum, as so many posts in the main because hydrofoil has grown so big now.

Also, if you are only interested in TT riding, you have to browse through all the wave board postings (or the other way around)

Agree it can be difficult to find things, but dividing into specific forums does not always solve this :-?
