I'm reaching 21 knots with board T22 wearing front straps and 633 Front wing and S483 stabilizer.
When I push the board over 20 knots the front wing generated so much lift that I find difficulty in maintaining the foil in the water, .... Also,... The foil becomes very unstable at that speed.
I'm thinking about changing stabilizer 483 for S330, but no one can give me any experience on this option.
I'm looking forward to foiling faster with W633.

My last foil was Gong M-pro and although it was more stable at high speed, 633 is more agile and nervous. In terms of speed 633 is a bit more faster but less stable, both of them turns in very tight radius and have almost the same low end speed
I recently bought 633 + 450 as I wanted one stab for both 633 and 1100 (wing).
I had too much lift with the 450 and no speed (difficult to control from 17 or 18 knots...)
I had the opportunity to try a 330 (and did buy one) and it gives more speed, less lift but it is also much less stable then the 450
The 330 was also advised to me by Moses brand manager
I would like to give the 425 a go as it is thinner (more speed) and between 330 and 450 (or 483) in terme of surface.
I am searching for the right stab to use the 633 with a pocket board (<100cm) in hte waves...
I loved 420 compared to 330 with 695 and 590 and I hope 425 would be pretty good and better. I hope as good as 483 yet faster.

I didn’t like loss of stability using 330 with 633 and 325 with 720. Some people like those combinations though

As a beginner you will value stability more than locked in carving ability that the 450 is great at, and as for speed then you will be many months away from exploring that possibility so of no value either way.
making the 483 the best, if only by a small amount.
That is until you snap the ends off  then some one will tell you :advise: the 450 would be better as the ends are turned up making it very much shorter, so less likely to chip the tips, which you will, everyone does when learning.
but don't fret when you do, :remybussi: as it makes no difference, just smooth off with grit paper.
as a beginner buy a second hand one that has been "worn in" :thumb:

thanks for the good advice. I have mounted the s450 due to the rolled up ends, just to not damage the stabilizer during learning :nono: :naughty:

I bet you do
I have yet to meet anyone who has not, but as a beginner, as long as the foam is still inside then it will work ok, and you will learn another good skill.
wing repairs! :goodluck:

Finally tried 425 with Onda. First thing to say is that wind was on low limit (8-9-10-11 knots) and was a little to difficult to discover and feel everything with this stablizer. But few things are such in my opinion: seems that needs more back foot pressure for lift, stance back foot little bit back, little bit less up wind angle i would say (but maybe wasnt enough wind to do real upwinds angle just), i think feels more stable in bigger speed (but wasnt enought wind for real speed top), and what felt very super its feeling when carving or on s turns, feels like you are on Real Scate with Real feeling On Ground! Unbelievable adhesion feeling.

Thanks I was looking for a review of this combo: surface inbetween the 483 and 420 and thin profile.

Please let us know when you have the chance to try it in more wind.

The 679 (683S) and the 420 is my current setup and I love the combo. Having said that, I liked the 325 that I had set on it and I notice that others did not.

Not sure what to tell you other than I find it great for carving and yet I find it stable in a straight line.
