I'm on a Comet w637 and i was looking for wing in the lighter days to play around practice tricks and so. I'm 90% into race and i did not want to buy a complete new setup (front, rear + fuselage)
I saw the review from Gunner (thx for that) and i figured that this could be a good affordable solution. I only have to buy the frontwing : )

yesterday i received the w695 , the wind was around 15-20 knots and i was able to test it and i was surprised.

Plus:
Upwind, like my w637 very good angle and speed
Very stabile
no leg pressure (this is what i really like)
Good low-end, stabile to do trick
Turns good, but not as snappy as the w637, you take more time to turn

Down:
Downwind speed limited to around 40km p/h (could push it to 50 but that was a challenge)
going powered from downwind to upwind is fight. I really needed to get all the power out of the kite to get the angle

I bought is for the low-wind days but yesterday it proved that is also performing quite well in stronger winds. I'm very happy with this wing!

Cheers!

Moses missed whole last year not making a wing larger than 590 for kite fuselage. The 683s was a good trade-off filling in between 590 and 633, yet the surf fuselage is unnecessarily large and heavy for kiters.

Maybe it was their marketing decission to that customers will spend more on surf equipment even having kite fuse? Just to simple double sells. Now seems they swapped attention more on kitefuselage. I just wonder its really so difficult to make good wing prototype in our autocad and possible simulation times?

I think I still would have bought large surf wing on whatever fuselage it would come, just to explore lowest end of lightwind :)

What puzzles me - how windsurf foil market is so tempting that Moses had to produce 85 tuttle mast and 720 wing for windsurf specifically, leaving surf/kite crowd to be second priority. Do we not make Moses more revenue? Do Moses folks have personal commitment to some of their major investors who happen to be windsurfers?
