@jumptheshark Of course ;) I was just making fun of you, apologies if badly received.

But thanks for the selection of pics, very illustrative. Squatting indeed increases efficiency

#1, but actually a proper onewheel stance. Feet closer together highlights the center balance point of the foil and really opens up the whole interaction.

I had super wide stance for so long and moved to smaller boards and then realized that by narrowing stance, the ride was being transformed.

Now I try to get as narrow as possible and it’s transcending in rewards.

Btw, poo stance is sure to wear out your spine!

If all you ride is #1 then you’re weak and you’re bloodline is weak. You probably have nice wind, a peak 4, and have waves to play on.

😂

Stance, and stance width, change depending on the conditions, the riding, and how I feel. It's not either or, it's a spectrum. Well, at the stage I'm at...

What's great about strapless is you can change your stance depending on conditions and what you feel like doing.
I call riding down wind ' riding the bus'. You know, your standing there holding that strap above your head with one hand.

What if i ride heel over cranking upwind like poo stance but standing upright like bean pole?
Am I a poopole stance or beanpoo stance?

Also, i kinda like an aggressive crouching tiger stance for freeriding downwind.....

So I will claim the "crouching tiger" stance as a new internationally recognized stance.

Anybody wanting to use this stance will need to seek permission from me and send a "donation" of $1.00 per time you use the crouching tiger stance.

I'm not a foiler, but from reading this thread, if you ride POO stance and go downwind, would that be called a "Brown winder"? :D
