The "normal" masts seem to be made of aluminium - 45/65/80/90 cm. Now theres the new carbon mast, but its 100cm in one piece, not the easiest to travel with. Then theres a short carbon 45cm with box fit. I dont know if theres more but thats what I got from a quick look at the website.

Watch out for the new faster foil wings, "Veloce" good for winging and faster foiling. I just get the feel that some mid sized of these could have crazy performance similar to signature foil albatross 210 but I have no idea.

With this much foil choice gong is in my eyes really taking a prominent place in the industry.

The wing that many have been using for kiting the M Pro is considered a surf wing and would work.

I've been hyping the gong pro m for kite foiling since I got one.
If gong is listening, I'd like a gong pro S surf wing. 10-15% smaller. And one piece carbon mast, 90 cm.

I have the Gong 65 and 80 cm Al masts that I use with an XL pro for wing foiling. Pretty sure these Gong Al masts are (almost?) the same kite foil masts (3 m6 bolt pattern) used by RRD, Takuma and Naish at one point. For smaller kite foil wings they are fine but for larger SUP/surf/wing foils they are definitely a bit flexy. I can feel my XL pro wobble all over but since I’m wing foiling mostly flat water at slower speeds it doesn’t matter too much for now.

I also have a new Moses 82 cm surf mast mated to a W1100/S450 that is plenty stiff and light at the same time.

As mentioned the Gong Carbon mast/fuselage only comes in 70 and 100cm and would really benefit from a 3rd size in the 80-90cm range. Also pricy by Gong standards.

I really like the XL pro a lot and I’m also looking forward to the new Gong Veloce series for wing foiling. Rather than go for the pricy Gong Carbon mast/fus I’m just gonna have a local machine shop adapt the standard Gong Al fuselage to the super stiff 19 mm Axis surf mast (68, 75 and 90cm at a cheap price). Won’t be light or ultra pretty, but good enough for me.

The very cheap gong alui mast is a brilliant price for budget buyers, but keep in mind to buy two, as they bend very easily, and once bent its toast,
I wish I had taken a photo of the brand new- out of the box- one that bent within its first hour of use at Rhosneigr beach UK, poor owner was so happy showing me his new kit for a great price, a little later he was waiting for me on the beach to ask what he could do about his mast as he had hit the bottom whilst dragging out and his weight over the board just bent the mast over, I tried not to laugh at the boards angle as the kit was stood on the ground, great for doing a 360 I was thinking, as he was devastated when I said it was now scrap and needed replacing.
but at the price why buy one? they are so cheap, I could buy 19 gong masts for the price of my one carbon mast.

I am not trying to defend Gong here, but I find it strange to blame a producer if the gear was damaged at hitting the bottom. The damage while normal riding is what interests me.
Hitting the bottom with your full weight and in the straps - well, something has to fail, it being a gear or your bones...
Just my thoughts...
