I like creativity too, but what I think here is:
Don't run behind every small stick, manufacturers have thrown for you. Especially when you realise that there is actually no meat on it.
I could imagine a wing / kite hybrid, even with some disadvantages on both sides, could some day be something interesting.
What I see on the video is just putting a wing on a kite bar, after some tinkering of a bridle, which I think is pretty much exchangeable and possible with many existing wings.
When you can relaunch it and you can show relevant riding skill on wing and kite setup aswell and show that it can do powerfull loops on lines ... then you are ready to show off a video.
But as I see nothing of that, it is just a commercial, in the best case to prepare for the future, to say: we have been the first, but for now just too early.
(Acting like that as a small company you may even risk to motivate bigger competitors to overtake the shown small development advance in a few weeks and being on the market before you do.)
