Very cool technology
.. but it appears to be a solution in need of a problem

They built an electronic version of the mechanical control system on a moth. Which is actually pretty cool, I'd love to give one a try. I know it's not very "pure", but I still would like to see how it rides.

if you want a clear example of control technology on foils, a kiwi mechatronics/software engineer wrote some new software for the Americas cup boat mid competition and then it proceeded to win every race after previously losing in the same boat.

interesting engineering.

Try surf foiling. Then ask why.

Way harder without the kite to help you stabilise
