I have a quiver of Clouds including a converted D to E bridle 10.4m plus a Strutless 9m Gong.
Friend has a 10m V3 and he is very happy with mainly because it's a similar colour to a Cloud kite - joking, but most think he has a Cloud kite.
The Gong is still a heavier kite than a Cloud kite and as such does not fly in as lighter air as a Cloud.
Cloud kites do not require battens and just nicer to fly.
For foling my preference is Cloud but Gong is good value for the money.

There is very good YT video called “cloud vs gong strutless”, helped me to decide should I go for the gong. Totally different kites, only similarity are no struts and white color. Check the vidieo, I’m on my phone so can’t post here.

You should look at a Storm Voyager also . I know Peter Frank has experience with them and I have had a 12m V2 and it was great .

Yes, that's the video. V2 and V3 are similar, the main difference is that V3 has more bridle connection points on the leading edge for the better load distribution.
