Guys, isn't the 425 an older model? Can't find it anywhere (in Europe)

I ride the 450, don't like the 330 not stble enough for me.

I ride a 120 board and a 37'' KS (94cm). I put a shim and problem solved.

Riding a bigger board and standing more at the front IS NOT a solution for me

I have them... they are great...
I only use the 2°, but was interested how other people find the shim influences the foil...

For me with 2° shim, less lift al high speeds but also a more stable foil...

didn't try the 3° yet...

I solved the same problem with a different stabilizer. In fact, I can't imaging riding that 483 anymore on that wing! (this is my personal opinion by the way). First I went to the 450 stab and thought it was magic. Then to the 330 and liked it so much more. Then to the 325 and found it even more fun. Then to the old race stab 380 which I still ride often - night and day! But now I ride the new 425 and I'll never ride another stab on the 633 again. The 425 is the stabilizer that I ride on every wing now, from the 1100 (massive) down to the 548. The only wing I don't use the 425 on is the 637 which I stick to the 420 for that one.

Both legs are perfectly balance w/the 425 on the 633 strapless.
I agree, switched last session and it was terrific....perfect balance and I had been fighting it on the 483

I believe that all 425 variants have now been replaced by the 421.

^^^

Sadly, this may be true, however I think there are still 425 stabs in shops in the US--there was one in plastic on the shelf in Hood River. Regardless, I was really surprised to also like the 421. It's a notch faster, but also a hair less stable in pitch. If one has both surf wings, and speed wings the 421 will do double duty rather well. The 425 may be a bit better if one only has surf/freestyle type setups.

I rode 633 for a year and 683s. I had 2* shim in rear wing and loved it. I ride strapless and now moved to KS 37". I also have 450 stab.
I sold 633 and only ride 683s as I like it better.
A friend sold me the Stringy Fuselage which compensates the mast forward which allows less foot pressure.
On old Micro I did not notice foot pressure as much, but on KS I was slipping off front on tacks and foot switches missing deck pad.

Anyways when I first went to stringy fuse I liked it, but I put shim back in rear wing. Terrible. I noticed after a few sessions how it did not ride well. I took shim out and amazing how smooth the foil rides now.
I think shim cause cavitation and counters the effect of a smooth ride. I would not go back to shim. I would get a fuse or a smaller stab
