How can this still be so fun?

Postby revhed » Thu Jun 18, 2020 8:06 am

As I get along in age sometimes I look back at all the hobbies, sports I have enjoyed and ask myself, why do I still enjoy
Kite Board HydroFoiling so much, even after many years?
I assume that maybe like you I have dabbled in some pretty cool hobbies and sports but they seem to loose my interest after awhile,
whereas still look forward to KBHF sessions!
I have my thoughts but don`t want to influence, curious as to others ideas.
And you?

Yes, kitesurf hydrofoiling is still so much fun, so many years later :thumb:

Wingfoiling even more fun now, as you got a very natural way of holding the power, and maybe also because I am still learning things - always great to move your own borders, progression.

Kitesurfing on waveboards, when perfect conditions, are maybe the best of everything, but does not happen that often.

And if you have good waveboard conditions many days in a row, you miss hydrofoiling.
Sometimes the other way around, if you have been hydrofoiling for days, you miss wavekitesurf :naughty:

Really good balance this way, you are always max motivated and never get into a "rut".

As long as it is wind and water and even better when also waves, almost everything is right, also windsurf and surf.

But as kitefoil has such a wide range, from 5 knots and flat, up to over 25 knots and big waves - it has the highest rating if I only were to choose one
