to put an electric motor on the mast of your current hydrofoil?

like this one for instance:

Motors are very expensive right now 1500 euro for this one :o but if it works well / is fun and could be put on every foilmast out there it could be a killer product or maybe not?

I contacted this company to ask the question about buying this to attach to my Moses hydrofoil. They were very unhelpful.

From what I can gather it involves a lot of engineering to make the whole system of electrics and batteries work, and therefore it's not currently viable to simply attach it to an existing board. I feel like this is a gap in the market though if someone can make a motor/propeller and battery product that is cheap and can be retrofitted to any hydrofoil.
