Ghost Whisperer compatibility

Postby jibskib » Mon Jul 06, 2020 11:37 pm

Apologies if common knowledge, I’ve tried searching this in forum, out on internet content, and even calling dealers (“probably works”)and SS sports (no answer) - but I can’t find any confirmed assurance that I can order new Moses/GW wings for this new-to-me foil.

SS GW 101 with 576 front wing. Almost positive it is 2018 but could be 2017. Excited to branch into faster/distance riding but will also want to continue general surf/cruising with a 590 or similar kite-fuse setup.

Attempting to add photo. Fuselage is style that protrudes forward of wing...but without other Moses/GW demo options or friends riding I can’t get a confirmation that it is plug and play. Really hopeful it’s not aN unsupported dead end with this new lineup SS is planning. Thanks in advance

It’s 2018 GW setup released in October 2017 featuring 2016 Moses product line. Your fuselage is 680 and will fit 590/695/etc wings.
Moses delivers extremely compatible products so you’re fine to add a slower wing.

Thank you!!

For that kite fuselage - is the 590 still the go-to slower yet agile wing (like the 633 has been on surf fuselage) or is there a new player that is a game changer? 590 is obviously proven and available and compatible.

If you want a lightwind wing - go for 695. The 590 will feel slower and more forgiving than 576, yet the 695 is a better lightwind choice with much lower stall speed and still decent high end

Any issue mounting the 590/330 to the 680 fuselage? As long as bolt pattern is the same, safe to assume bolts that came with the 590 are exact ones to use on this older fuse?

And mostly curious - 680 vs 647 - will performance vary much with the nose cone and longer old fuse? Trying to justify if picking up a new/used fuse is worthwhile to have on hand to swap between race/freeride modes...anyone selling?

590/330 match 680 just fine and many are still riding the set like this. The 647 and 680 have same wing-mast-stabilizer spacing and the disadvantage of 680 is that it collects seaweed between the tip and the wing. Also the wing saddle curve of 647 is more refined and matches all wings tighter.
