I could foil for 6 hours a day as it is much less exhausting than twintipping. No problem sir. But the impact from the sun on the face is massive. For sure I use sun protection (cream), but that seems not to solve the problem. It's way too much sun for the skin. Any creative ideas? I use a helmet, that protects at least a big part of the head.

Seen many versions of that. If it is specific for watersports I don't know, but shouldn't be hard to find those kind of masks.

I have a wide-brim hat with a chin-strap. It seems to work ok with sunblock and sunglasses.

You can wear a hat under the helmet (for the visor). I’ve been doing that. For the face, a covid-like mask should work. Try a buff and/or a neoprene face mask (they make them for skiing).

Use a zinc based mineral sunscreen SPF 50 (Neutrogena makes a great one. Your face will be white but it holds up in the ocean and since it's mineral based won't sting your eyes)

I use the Gath Gedi helmet with the full face visor in smoke grey tint and a Buffs neck and face gator with the large breathing holes.
Also a long sleeved rash shirt by kiteboarding.com. And Dakine ventilated stand up paddle pants. Dakine doesn’t make them anymore but maybe some other company does, and there are swim tights. Dakine gloves for sun hitting top of the hands.
The helmet and shirt are in that color used for school sign fluorescent yellow that is visible from a long way away.
I don’t wear sun screen, and probably have good jelly fish sting protection, since I’m covered up. I don’t get hot or have visor fogging since everything is ventilated.
