Our boat is a typical mexican panga and really struggles to create a decent sized wake but sufficient for the 1000 wing. Not tried the second wave back yet.. We just climb the rope until in the wake, feel the rope slacken and then let go once stable.

Our first attempts with axis 1000 and 440.
