yes 330 is too small for my liking (too unstable for me)
450 (and I guess 483) is great but you have to shim it not to get too much front pressure. It is great in the waves and slow.
If you want to get more speed the 425 is the ticket - this was the initial question right?

Sounds like I need to try it today, avoided screwing my 425 stab on the last two days as conditions were challenging with turbulent water, waves and wooly winds, but today looks like the conditions will be better, fingers crossed.

The 425 stabilizer became a major 2019 gear discovery for 2020 freeride foiling. It’s awesome, yet it delivers even more magic with 695 and 800 wings. These two mount on kite fuselage and revived low end riding of kite wings.

And compared to 695 or 800 I don’t know when I would ride surf wings again.
