Hi guys,
looking for your advice; I just received new Moses fuselage for 1100 wing. The fuselage’s middle screw hole for the front wing is bare metal. Also a very small area at the top of that hole and also one stabilizer screw hole are bare metal.
So my question is, are the bare metal areas missing anodization or just paint, in other words, should I be worried abt this and contact the seller?
Thanks!

Not, that would be where they had the electrical connection during anodising. Could be a bit better done but it’s OK.

To original question. Yes you should. But it shouldnt by other than cosmetical problem. They should have b class stock with discount for such things.

If it were me I would just Tef-Gel and ride it. A layer of natural alumina will form just from oxygen in the air. Some of this stuff might be nice for a touch up if it would offer you piece of mind:
Heres a picture of cool aluminum ship:

Thanks guys. I just wonder about seizing as that’s why the tefgel is used, and I question if the bare metal would make this setup even more prone to seizing?
