i probably placed 15 different orders over the summer with gong, going to usa, i also thought the shipping was a bit out of line, a couple times my order would cancel, and I would re-order it,,,and get a fairly different shipping amount. i would have liked to try their stuff but the whole order process was more than i could handle. also tried paying once or twice but cc got denied,,, you have to pay in euroes i found out later. kinda glad,,, i found nice stuff closer to home and my dollars went to a good old local company ( GO SLINGSHOT!)loco4viento wrote: ↑Thu Dec 24, 2020 2:18 amThat’s good to hear.
Maybe I was a bit overly appalled by my shipping costs which might have been more reasonable than I thought.
And I do like my Gong mPro curve. So much that I now have a large curve wing as well (haven’t had any time on it yet).
Flex comes in two forms: one in the lack of solidity between the connecting parts of a foil & two in the actual flex of the material. As I understand it, aluminium, as a material, flexes less than carbon, but may flex more at the connecting points between mast base & board & mast bottom & fuselage.
