Hey all!
Currently using the Slingshot Hoverglide Space Skate, 36" aluminum mast on a SS Dwarf Craft 4-6. Has anyone tried this "heavy" foil setup on a SS 3-6 micro? I currently use a single footstrap at the front of the 4-6 to assist holding it up in the waterstart position with my front foot. Footstrap is at 90 degrees from the boards long axis. Way up front. Don't use it when riding. Thx!

I tried 3’6” regular with H4 and aluminum mast few years back. Was experimenting riding stabless on H4. I think the micro will not go below surface under foil weight either.

I do ride with SS Spaceskate and a 4.0 board (18l).
Its an amazing set up and now I know why SS chose this name for this wing.
To water start I just use my back elbow and my back hand to hold the board at 90° as I do ride Strapless. No issue to do that. If you are not sure how to do it watch any water start strapless video.
Aloha

Let me know how it goes, I’m considering the same switch to the smaller board

After riding 91cm board for last couple of years my 3’6” is the “big board” now. The small Dwarfcraft is perfect for foiling

Stay away from slingshot, construction is really poor...
I snapped foil and lost it after few jumps
space skate foil is super heavy, also very slow and unstable

Can you share a pic of the tip of your mast from the side

Looks like you weren't using stock hardware at the base plate. Were you using stock hardware at the Fuselage? Seems like an odd place to break since those bolts would have to of been in some serious tension to snap like that.

I don't know buddy what you mean stock hardware, but I thought that mast is inside fuselage but it just screwed on the top with two screws, so LAME! it’s the worst construction I’ve ever seen
