Ridden both regular and HA wings I never felt loss of turning ability with HA wings.
Foil HA wings are barely above medium aspect and they add great deal of roll stability yet tend to result in increased stall speed. Pure pleasure to ride with kite or efoil, except for beginners
I’m on the 170 Classic at the moment but wanting to change to a foil that turns a little sharper. I don’t want to lose any bottom end however. Can anyone comment on how the 170 Classic would compare to the 150 Surf v2 with a smaller tail (25 or 32 etc)?

The 2021 150 Surf v2 has more lift, glides better and is even more pitch stable than the 170 classic. I am using the 150 Surf v2 front wing with the 32 Glide tail. The increased glide this new wing has over the 170 Classic is very noticeable. It is faster but can also be ridden at a slower stall speed. I'm still testing the turns but it seems like it is a bit looser and can make a variety of turns from wide to fairly tight. The 150 Surf v2 is another winner from Lift and is probably best for int-advanced riders whereas the 170 Classic is a great option for beginner-intermediate riders. Lightweights may want to look at the 100 Surf v2 since these mid-aspect wings have more lift than the low aspect wings.

I'm replacing my Classic 150 with a new 150 Surf V2. Nick at Lift suggested the 38 Surf rear wing. I'm wondering if I should look at the 32 Glide. I'm 160 lbs and ride strapless on a Kanaha shapes. My ride local Utah lakes Spring and Fall. Summers I spend in the Columbia Gorge. Any feedback on the rear wings would be appreciated.
had the opportunity to try the 200 HA attached to 50 tail again on a tiny kahana tablet..
i love it... it glides soooo smooth. ideal for peak4 style wave surfing
not sure whats my fav.. but MFC's 1400 wings and Lift's 200 HA are head and shoulders above everything else i've had the pleasure of riding.
Any comments on Lift HA 200 vs 170 for a 175 lb kite foiler? I’m looking at the corresponding HA wings from Naish. I wish there was a way to demo them, to see firsthand what they feel like. Thanks

Hey! Just curious. What do you expect to be the differences between the classic 150 and the surf V2? I'm on the classic 150 at 150 lbs on a 2020 SS micro strapless. And how do you get to talk to those guys at Lift? EVERY time I've called, I get someone that doesn't know much about the products and there is no one around to talk with.
For winging or efoiling, the Lift 170-250 HA wings make sense. However for kiting, I cannot imagine anyone needing more lift or glide than the 150 Surf V2. People weighing less than 175lbs will likely be best served with the 100 Surf V2 for kiting.
