Go right to the 34 tail. You won't be disappinted. I run a modified 200 Classic with the 34 tail for kiting. Great in any wind and spins around with ease.
From comparing the 200 Classic to the 200 Surf V1. The Surf V1 seemed to have a thicker foil section and more turn-down on the tips. More lift but reduced top speed.
Your mileage may vary. It all depends on what your riding style is. I have buddies that can't ride my foil set-up, but love tiny high aspect wings...
