Alternative to 483 stabilizer

Postby Sbrinckman » Thu Feb 18, 2021 7:48 pm

Any recommendations on a stab adding to my quiver.

Kitefoil: using 633/483 and 695/330
wingfoil: using 1100/483

I'd like te add a stab to use with above front wings. What would you suggest to add to give me more options:
- 420/421
- 425
- 450

me 78 kg, wive 68 kg, mainly north sea and inland lake.

thanks,

stinos

The newer 400 stabiliser is what I use with all my Moses wings these days.

The 425 stabilizer is magic for 695/800 wing and folks love it for 633/683s/679 wings too.

450 is good stabilizer, more stable and much more damage proof compared to 483 yet it will need to be shimmed up to preserve stance. I enjoyed 450 with 683s/679 wings

Folks say good things about 400. The 421 I’ve got I haven’t tried yet, the 420 works better than 330 and nearly as good as 425 yet I still prefer 425.

I would get the S399.
The small Neil Pryde Glide stabi also is a good option. It is cheap, carvy and does not cut wetsuits like S483.
