I was out on my Drifter 12m when the wind switched from clean onshore to messy offshore the other day and I was really impressed by the balance of the Drifter. I was able to keep it in the air in 1-strut level winds, granted I had to be a bit more focused on the kite to downloop when needed but most other 3 strut kites would have flopped in those conditions.
