My F-one board came with M6 T-nuts in the tracks. I just got a new foil and the base plate is designed to work with M8 bolts. The foil came with M8 T-nuts and bolts.
Unfortunately, the M8 T-nut is too thick at the base, so won't slide into the tracks of the F-one board. The slots in the foil look too wide for the M6 bolt heads.
Is there a good solution for this? Are there thinner M8 t-nuts that will slide into the F-one tracks, or some sort of washer that will let the M6 bolts work in the M8 slots?

Am running a Lift foil designed for M8 on a board with M6 inserts.
I tapped over the board interface side of the holes in the plate. Poured epoxy (5 min syringe type) into the holes in the base plate, sanded flush then drilled out the appropriate hole for M6 hardware. I use a thin washer between bold the head of the hex nut and the plate that covers more than the epoxy fill and rests on the base plate itself. Works well.

Yes,
There is a perfect solution for this.
Moses M6 way-through nuts. They fit perfectly to M8 plate.

Depending on your mast, you may be able to use washers with flat head bolts.
I have a Lift mast that I use with m6 bolts and fender washers (which are just extra wide washers). The mast is designed around tapered-head m8 bolts, but flat-head m6 and washers works just fine. If there is a lot of contouring on a carbon base plate, maybe washers wouldn't work.
If buying new hardware, try to stick with 316 stainless.

I wasn't able to find a way-through nut on the hardware section of the Sabfoil site.
I did see these:
https://sabfoil.com/en/products/washer-adapter-m8-m6
This seems like what I need! Weird that it comes in a set of 3 though. Anyone used these?

Yeah, it's an axis mast, so has holes and slots. Using the holes with washers for now, but would like to use the slots for easier removal.

Yes, they're for the Sabfoil big front wings (790, 799, 940, 950, 1100, 1250), which have three bolts and all now come drilled to suit M8 as per the new 700mm high strength fuse.
All of these front wings except the 1250 I think can still be bolted to the 710mm surf fuse (which takes M6) using these adapters. The 1250 can also but I believe voids your warranty.

Just use 6mm bolts. Run a Moses mast on my F-one board using 6mm bolts but the mast foot is designed for 8mm. Don’t use any spacers, just line it up and tighten down.
You can get allen head bolts with a bigger head (like an integrated washer).

Just tap your nuts to m8?
I did that to my gong nuts.
Most are brass, so it is really easy.
