Inflatable hydrofoil kite boards

Postby jbrodin » Thu May 27, 2021 8:01 pm

Does anyone have any hands on experience with inflatable hydrofoil-boards for kite, such as this: https://shop.indiana-paddlesurf.com/foi ... table.html

How are they to ride on, in particular, how do they perform when riding on the board, not up on the foil?

I know for sure there has been many posts about this - Gunnar also.

Not sure how to search, but have you tried "Inflatable" and see what pops up?

i think they work well for wing foiling where the volume might be beneficial..

i've traveled with gong's inflatable board.. has a slightly less volume than needed to float me.
with straps i could start the same as on a fanatic board with same volume.
i'm not skilled enough to where i notice a lack or responsiveness or a disconnect from water.

for kite foiling i cant deal with the inertia of bigger boards .. which may be related to the length more than actual volume.
i'm just not used to huge boards that seems go where it wants to go
