Not sure I understand the question about more lowend on the small board, am I missing something, wouldn't they be the same? Albeit the 110L will be easier to start due to flotation and getting on the foil earlier; the 56L will be knee start only I guess

yes so an additional question is will you have more lowend on the small board with the 950 then on the 110L? Assuming there is enough wind to waterstart the 56L?
That really depends on how you see it. The easy answer is the the Floater will have more lowend compared to a sinker as I can stay over the water and use the speed of the board to get flying. There is no way I can start with my 33L board in under 20 knots regardless of how big the foil is as I cannot generate enough lift in the wing to get the board to the surface.
Now on the other hand if we are comparing two floaters, lets say 110L vs 65L, I can make the 65L board fly earlier than the 110L as I have less mass to move and release from the water. This also assumes that both boards are the same design. The Hull shape can make a huge difference to lowend. Concaves, Channels, Steps and kicktail are act like brakes and reduce your lowend significantly, so comparing different designs purely on volume makes little sense.

In relation to your body weight (in kilos) what’s is the factor for board volume (in liters) you’d say where sinker becomes the floater?

I have a 940 and I love it, by far my most favorite wing for kite wing and wake.
I use it with my Phantasm mast 92cm that is lighter and stiffer then Sabfoil 92cm 1,8kg vs 2,4kg
I have also chopped off fone stab for the SS fuse that also have far better connection then Sabfoil fuse(bigger and three screws instead of two.
I think I'll order the 945 aswell so I can breach the tips and stay in control because the 950 have bent tips.

Also have the 940, very nice frontwing! Already the 950 was a huge improvement for me. Almost the same lowend as the 1100 and all else properties much better (78kg). After not touching the 1100 for 2 months tried it once again and sold it immediately

That depends very much on skill. But I would posit that for a intermediate rider A sinker is when the Board is less than Body Weight (kg) - 20L. So for example 80kg Rider, a less than 60L board would start to be in the "sinker" range and anything above 60L goes into "floater" range.

So from what I deduce from who have read and replied to this thread, it appears that there are no guys who are 90kg+ riding the 940, is this correct?

I got a few runs on way too low wind on 950 + peak 5m. I was pleasently surprised the agility of the 950 for a few rides I managed to get. I thought it would be too fixed ride, but no. I don’t know how it behaves in more wind, however, this was purchased for my wingboard use, but looks toworkwell in light winds.
I compared this to 633 which I normally use.

I'm 85kg and I ride the 940. It's awesome - it's the only wing I need for all conditions.
I use it with a 90l Quattro. I'm an advanced rider in the Gorge and Baja.
IMO - the 940 would not be enough lift for you unless it was blowing 22 and more.
I think the 945 will hit the sweet spot for you in 20+ but not for light winds - keep your 1100.
950 is same design as 1100 but smaller - it would not replace the 1100 for winds under 20.
