It just never ends, this foil and I are not meant to be together!
So, have just flowen with the foil from Europe to the US. Naturally they lost the foil bag for a day. When it did turn up the mast has some damage..... bugger! Not sure how serious it really is. Would you guys mind having a look at the pictures and giving an opinion? Damaged area is soft and can be pushed around with a finger.

From what I can see its not one of the structural parts of the mast. As long as it does not take in any water its no issue. If its soft, you can put a few drops of resin, sand it down and all good.
I would definitely file a damage report at the airline. After all, this does not seem to be Moses/ Sabfoils fault?

Agreed. Just fill the area with resin or epoxy.

Hi Qiter,
Have already filled a claim with the airline. Not expecting much. This has absolutely nothing to do with sab although I’m surprised how delicate it is on the top.
Guess I’m going to have to do a full sanding job on all of it soon.

Well, as expected the airline refused the claim. Not to worry, fixed already! Came out quite well to. Thanks everyone.
