637 with 483 Wow

Unlikely combination...optimal speed with optimal roll stability ....fantastic for gusty inland garbage winds....used the 680 fuse :baby:

Large stabilizer adds some lowend, right?
And 637 is super stable otherwise

Yup....Ive ridden the 483 with the 633, 683, 720 and now the 637....it provides low take off speed and excellent roll stability...better roll than the 350, 330 hands down (have not tried the 450)....Im sure its a little draggy but I dont race and this setup is white hot fast to me....amazing stab.....

Try 310 surf stabilizer if you can. Same area as 483/450, thinner and less draggy than either of them, winglets pointed up preventing carbon damage and adding to yaw stability. Doesn’t need shimming like 450 does

Adding a drogue chute to race car? 🤮

The 637/420 is perfect as it is.

I'd agree with this ..for most people 420 or 421 is perfect after you get the hang of it ...I come from 633/450 and much prefer the smoother ride of 637/420 don't need any more stability ..liveliness is what makes smaller wings rock..but agree if don't want to change the front wing for shifting winds perhaps adding 483 can work
...then again I just cannot see the point ..just add a different front wing for the wind..it takes just as long to change..

Yes 637/420 is great but the point people don’t bring up often is that adding a large surf stabilizer to the mix improves lowend for smaller wings.
I was demoing 720 wing and ride it with same 450 stabilizer I had mounted for my 683s and I could not feel difference in lowend while size difference is 25% (720 was more roll stable and about as fast due to thicker profile).
I tried 325 stabilizer for the next run, right after, and it:
- need more speed to fly
- was loose as sh!t

That’s why people like 425 stabilizer which is largest kite stabilizer Moses made, yet thin so it’s not draggy

It’s not only skill, right size matters too
