I kind of agree with this. For me there are a few really important factors that count much more than weight - in my order:OzBungy wrote: ↑Sat Jul 24, 2021 2:20 amI'm not sure why people feel they need ultra-lightweight bars for foiling. I have a very light carbon bar and it works ok, but it doesn't have the padded ends and bungie line holders that you get on normal bars. I don't feel the featherweight bar adds to the experience of kiting. The weight of any bar is trivial and the kite lines support most of it.
I bought the Pintxo bar to try a carbon bar because so many people were raving about using carbon bars, and I liked the idea of the rear line trim. I've still got it and keep it as a spare.Onda wrote: ↑Sun Jul 25, 2021 4:51 pmI´m using the Kauper Pintxo Bar since about 1.5 years for foiling:

Not needed. Too many accidental releases. Foil only, when kite correctly sized, just letting go of the bar is enough.
