I'm wanting to mount a short aluminum Slingshot mast, for shallow water use, to the new Slingshot Phantasm fuselage. There is a Moses fuse to SS mast adapter on the market (Foilmount), but the new SS Phantom fuse mounts a mast with 3 bolts, so that doesn't work. I'm sure SS will soon be coming out with shorter carbon masts for the Phantasm, but would really like to use the relatively inexpensive aluminum SS masts, which have been around for so long...

Grigorib,
Thanks for the suggestion. Jim is kindly making me an adapter!
BTW, SS will be offering a Hoverglide [aluminum] mast to Phantasm fuse adapter for 2022.

The adapter which Slingshot shown at AWSI is a smart move on their end, not even sure why they would need to make a dedicated aluminum mast. Good times, anyways.
Fly the foil!

Here's the SS fuse adapter previewed at ASWI [could be a proto]...
Note: Screen capture from Kitesurfing mag video.

Forgot to mention... In that Kitesurfing mag video, Alex mentions there is also a longer chord aluminum mast for windfoiling use. And on the same corner shelf he grabbed the adapter from, looks [I'm visually speculating] like a Tuttle to twin-track adapter...

I emailed slingshot and they said they have an adaptor for hover glide masts to be able to take the new phantasm fueselage / wing.
They do Not have an adapter that lets you put hover glide fuesalage and wings on the new phantasm masts. I asked this because I have all hover glide foils but i was hoping to be able to use those on a new taller 102cm phantasm mast ( hover glide doesn’t have a mast taller than 90cm)

@bkkite,
Re: HG mast to Phantasm fuse - Yeah, that's what I started this thread about.
Re: HG fuse to Phantasm mast - I think there is a reason aluminum masts top out at about 90 cm. Flex... bending... Don't think anybody makes an aluminum mast longer than that. You could fabricate an adapter to mount a Phantasm mast to a HG fuse, but it would have to piggyback on the fuse and would increase drag and probably be a source of noise. Or... you could machine a HG fuse to flush mount a Phantasm mast into it. So much material would be removed from the fuse that it would probably bend, which would be ironic because that fuse is one massive piece of aluminum. The longer 'switch' versions even more so.
Sounds like you are stuck at Step-1 into the Foiling Gearhead Syndrome - acceptance that you will need to spend more money to buy more gear.

Haha, I've definitely accepted that I'll have to spend more. Thinking about getting the new dwarfcraft board already!
I thought phantasm had both aluminum and carbon masts, and that the masts went up to 102cm. In the video there were two sets of masts behind him, and I think the ones on the left where the aluminum, and there was a very very tall one at the end that said 102cm?
