My mast is 95cm (alum) and, from what I could feel, it should be mounted as close as possible to the back of the board as it was pretty hard to keep the wing on water when I've pushed some speed. Maybe I should try other board too as I've been using a very light pocket board. It seems it'll break if a push it too hard on my front foot
Yeah maybe try some other wings and boards. I'm reading all these suggestions about technique and all I can think about is "The equipment is more important". Go watch them race, the guys with the best (most expensive) equipment wins if they are racing unlimited and not formula.

It's pretty hard to go fast on a pocket board because you are always worried about both touching down and pressing too hard on the nose. I mean at least for me my technique isnt that good.

Well yeah, I guess, because racers don't use pocket boards. The stance of racers is way wider than is possible on a pocket board ... & I assume there's reason for that!

The width of the stance is mostly helpful upwind, but you need to get your front foot further forward to hold the foil down at speed. If you try to go really fat on a pocket board you'll more or less find yourself hanging five off the nose to be correctly balanced at speed.

If to much front foot pressure is the problem you can reduce the angle of the stab or cut the stab.
Then it's possible to ride faster.

There is a limit where the stab gets to little downforce to be efficient.
