How to use Armstrong mast with a groove race board?

Hi all,

I got a problem and I wonder if anyone had to solve a similar issue..

I have bought an Armstrong kit with a mast and trying to use it with my groove race board V3 ..

Groove boards (all of them) use large rails.. one needs M8 bolts and a t-nut that fits that rail.

Armstrong mast has much smaller holes in the mast plate and the t-nut that comes with Armstrong mast is narrower than the t-nut I am currently using with my moses mast and grove board.

So , I can't reuse my M8 bolts with t-nut that fits the groove board, because the bolt will not pass thru the hole in Armstrong plate. But the t-nut that fits the Armstrong bolt is too narrow..

So what is the solution to my problem?

Do people find some other t-nut that can fit Armstrong bolt , but is wider and fit groove rails? Where can I buy one?

Please help as I desperately want to try my new 925 Armstrong wing on my board and can't attach it for now..

Here you see on the left side of the first picture ( groove hardware I use now) . on the right side is Armstrong hardware and you can see that that t-nut is narrower.

And red board below is the board I want to use ..

thank you for your help people!

-D.

I followed and it worked a treat. Sort of feels scary doing it, but all is good in my experience.
