Most sturdy top end hydrofoil

Postby juanpasala » Tue Oct 05, 2021 6:16 pm

Hi guys,
I am planing on getting a new race hydrofoil, in the past I had a banga, and now I have a Levitaz Bionic.
My two options (due to registration and performance), seem to be the Chubanga V3 and Levitaz R5.
My question is, which of those 2 is the most sturdy option, and less likely to chip and crack?
From my experience the baga was reallt fragile, and the Bionic is sturdy as hell, but those wings are quite old and the new ones shouldnt be evaluated in the same way...

I am open to any suggestions ^^

i own a chubanga v2 since it was released..
outlasted 2 sets of footstraps, a chickeloop, a rope harness, and the raceboard it was attached to
..it still looks brand new to me.
¯\_(ツ)_/¯

i rarely jump.. and usually on ride it flat water
...and i have no experience with Levitaz gear.

I went with Chubanga v3, very fast and easy to ride. I decided that less parts and adjustments will lead to longer life. The foil is solid with a lot of carbon but the wing tips are thin so you need to take care not to hit anything
