Thanks for this sharing, I usually kite with 679 Moses wing in 9/13 knots, can you tell me which is the difference in feeling between it and w800 or W950?
800 is faster than 679, although the latter is already quite fast compared to 633 f.ex. 679 is way more maneuverable, whereas the 800 goes fast in a straight line like on rails. Low end is better on 679.
So in summary: 679 more for maneuvers, 800 more for speed.
I use 800 for kiting and winging. Turns great and pumps very good with speed. I believe the 1000 rides more in straight line.

I tried kiting with my Sabfoil W950 wing with 483 stab and 647 fuselage ..
The 950 fits the surf fuse . . . how did you fit it to the kite fuse?
My mistake, I use my W950 wing with the F710 fuselage.

I tried kiting with my Sabfoil W950 wing with 483 stab and 647 fuselage (which I had bought for winging). It worked great in light wind and I didn't even need to adjust my mast track. This is a 1350 sq cm wing and it will certainly be my choice in the future for winds below 12 knots. It makes foiling tacks easier because it seems to glide longer.

(I normally kite with my W800 wing which is great but not well suited for very light winds.)

;-) CG

[correction: I use the W950 wing with the S483 stab and F710 fuselage]

Hey CG, did you use it with the 91cm mast?

Hi,
i ride the 873 Sabfoil on my small gusty spot, very thick profile 2100 cm2- for my weight a perfect small spot foil, reactive but also pumpable over short distance and maximum lift for earliest takeoff possible...in narrow, gusty spots i realized that i i cannot unleash the potential of smaller faster foils...i also tried the w1100 but this is not much fun due to the stable behaviour like a glider-plane...i always ride strapless...what i like very much is the landing behaviour on strapless air - you have so much lift that you can jump without touchdown.min2:00 in clip..

the w790 is my standard wing for the ocean&waves , defenitely not the fastetst wing possible but 40kmh is doable, so thats fast enough for my weight (105kg) also in large swell...

basically i do not like thin high ar wings for waveriding- low ar is more playful and fun here in the turns without breaking the watersurface

regards
alex

Can anyone compare w790 with w950 in stall speed and speed?
In my area for some reason they are selling quite a few second hand w950's

I use wing and fuselage from RDB which is 1700 sq.cm and I love it.
Fits GW/Moses masts and stabilizers

$790 wing+fuselage
$990 wing+fuselage+stabilizer

Has anyone tried the 740 for kite or winging? Interested to hear feedback.

Can’t help on the use of the 740 but did get to have a look at one in person the other day…. Absolutely sexy! Pictures on the web just don’t do it.
Little bit sharp and pointy on the tips though.

I use this.110 mats. works very well. used this for light winds. But now I use this all the time. At speeds around 20 knots it becomes a little more unstable. but I have sailed at 25 knots of speed. I sail in Stockholm where we have a little more unstable winds ……950 is perfekt👍👍🏾
