I would call that a combination gojoe/foot binding for riding your foil without a board.

The angles look a bit excessive/ridiculous but some of them must be useful.
It would be fun to ride with no board but in some ways also just a gimmick for most (i think…).
Well executed by the looks though.

The first board is in one of this years ketos videos. Are those being sold by ketos?

Interesting.

The shape makes sense in order to minimize weight and have max stiffness and strength - and with some rad looking lines also

Reminds me slightly of the around 7 year old pic (also from France) with a rider having two bindings on a stick, and nothing but that, as the board.

Can anyone find this picture again?

But I like it seems to have a tad of volume so you can ride it strapless, and (jump)switch feet, and apparently nose scoop so should be okay to start :thumb:
As opposed to a flat small skimboard which is crazy tough to start, or gives an odd leg angle

Interesting. Tuttle head's a bit outdated/limiting for freeride foils though, nobody really uses them except Ketos I suppose, which are virtually unknown in Australia.

Ketos Kf box is pretty sweet. One M6 screw seems very secure and is a super easy assembly. Somehow thy have set up so everything just works right without moving the mast around.

True, it is not the outdated Tuttle, but the KFBox which is sweet fast and not bulky or two screw like the Tuttle.
