It is really sikening how we accept the fact that manufacturers dont make weight of their produts easily avaliable.
We should revolt, and not buy…kkk
It is like having HP on a car…and not nowing the HP/Weight Ratio…
PLEASE…Hydrofoil Specific kites MUST inform weight per size

I don’t know what this complaining is about? Airush lists the weight for the current Ultra on their site.

There has been delays in production and the Ultra Team launch has been pushed back as well. Last I heard is the public release date will be next week and the kites should start to arrive to kite shops from mid-June.

Cool video! Any speculations about drift with this kite? The prose mentions improved upwind and not much about drift. On the other hand the start of the video with the drifting throwing launch is pretty awesome! 😁

If your only concern is having good drift because you want to chase waves I think this kite doesn’t sit deep enough in the window to be considered to be the “best” option (might still be good enough though).
eg the aluula roam or an UFO or Peak will probably drift better.
At least the “normal” Ultra was a bit more high aspect single strut design so I assume the team version is as well.
Having a bit more high aspect also has its benefits eg upwind performance and lift for jumps or maneuvers like tacks. Kite designs will always be a compromise and lighter/better materials don’t make kite design choices obsolete.

Now the team is officially on the airush website!

https://airush.com/kites/ultra-team/

Regarding drift: good point that the Ultra may sit too much forward in the wind-window.

Maybe a Session team hookipa will be better, when available one day...?

My experience with the Session (normal, non-hookipa) is that the kite (also) fly quite much forward in the wind-window...
