Since the announcement at the AWSI in Hood River there were rumors that in two weeks there would be an official presentation but nothing is known. Maybe it was presented to announce something new and it was just a prototype.
I am curious about the final weight with the new fabric, Hookipa, which I estimate to be 2.1-2.2 kg for a 12m, that is to say a reduction of half a kilo.
Also the new bridle without pulleys which is said to make the kite faster and more direct, which would make it faster and more powerful for the big sizes which are already fast for their size.

Airush Ultra Team

The Ultra Team has a Ho’okipa leading edge and lighter bladders. Ho’okipa is a hydrophobic woven dyneema cloth. It is the latest new age light strong materials to go up against Aluula, with the advantage of being a lot easier to work with. The Ultra Team has a narrower leading edge and struts allowing it to sit slightly farther forward in the window, and the shape is slightly higher aspect than the Ultra. The narrower Hokipa LE requires a few more PSI. Lighter, faster, more vertical, and built to last. The Airush rep Hunter was even able to throw megaloops on it. This is likely the lightest kite on the market today.

More competition for Alulla is great. Too bad about the 50% higher price, but hopefully that will come down as these ultralight fabrics become more commonplace amongst manufacturers.

that kite with alluula variant is going to be amazing. I have the 9m V4 and it's already amazing. Too bad about the prices of these new fabrics, between gas and groceries there's no money left for kites!

50% higher price. But not a word about the weight of the kites in the test. very interesting ;)

A bit disappointing v4 12m weighs 2.70 kg only 300gr difference.
Brm cloud 13.4m is 2.3 kg.

About 12% loss of weight (for 12m) for 50% more.. ;) Not bad.

As he wrote, its the estimated weight. Maybe we know soon more exact numbers.
