The last floating foil runaway did it to me... I definitely want it sinking!
Did anybody add an hydrodynamic piece of weight to a fuselage so the foil always sink?
Other solution?

I have heard of this, and seen some of my older gear moving upwind on its own, but never to the point where it seemed like any kind of an issue.
You can always add weight... but I can't help thinking that maybe changing to a board with a different shape or volume distribution might be a better solution?
As a matter of fact this was a problem reported by the person I bought some of my current gear from, but I really haven't seen that problem.
Perhaps the solution is as simple as just moving the strut mounting position just a little bit.
I ride strapless, so, especially in underpowered conditions, I really like the fact that my hydrofoil sits ready to go, rather than sinking.
I'm now using the 2020 "full size" slingshot dwarfcraft 3'6", with Moses 633 on a 72 cm strut.
I believe that my friend, who I bought my hydrofoil from, and reported this problem, was using it on an older version of the version of the same board, but I don't think that the shape of that board had changed any.

GoJoe works for me. Install at the end of the board.

Floating works for me.
And yes. Sometimes is a bugger. But sinking one will rocket way faster on you wont be able to SEE it.
So, careful what u wish for.

Carbon masts float aluminum masts sink.
It’s not just the carbon mast. It’s about the package including the wing sizes.
The 633 with carbon mast floats but the 679 does not. At least not for me.
Since the OP rides a 633 I would suggest to try a 679 front wing.
I found them pretty similar in regards to riding with the 679 a bit more playful and faster.

What brand of mast, fuselage, and wing are you using?
Moses: board T40 (red), mast 92, fuselage 710, wing 633.
Kite peak4, which sits quite inside the wind window making body drag upwind very difficult. Even parking the kite at 12 and backswimming sometimes doesn't help.

I have no issue with 633. Infact, I want it even ligher.
