abel,
Not just Peaks, any kite in ultra light wind so it does tend to be Peaks or larger foil kites. After a few failed attempts to get to a floating foil, a mate brought it back to me, I was using a 15mtr Sonic. I now never use a floating foil and big kite combination. No problem body dragging to a floating foil in stronger wind.downunder wrote: ↑Sat Nov 13, 2021 9:59 amso, the Peak is a problem, correct?

Can u please sende pics of ur self made board with the foil attached?knyfe wrote: ↑Sun Nov 14, 2021 5:46 pmMy 633 is not sinking 100% of time but sometimes. But in combination with my self made board it’s never a problem running upwind. Try mounting it further back. I have seen trouble with other board combinations and was worried when I started but it works well for me. My mounts are all the way at then end of the board - I mean all the way… it does not need to sink to stay out of trouble.
Wow!knyfe wrote: ↑Mon Nov 15, 2021 2:46 amNow it gets ugly … here my board. It’s a cut down door with a nose bend and soft cover for volume. Overall 1 m in length.

The float in the water has some angle to it due to the mounting position. I think that’s what works for me.
