Wow that’s far forward. I am right on the mast with a 633. I guess you can shim where you want to be within a certain range. I never played with it.

The important thing is to balance the foil ... and this can be done with your feet as widely, or as closely spaced as you choose. It's possible to balance the foil with your feet together side by side - one way of switching feet for instance.
I just checked my positioning: I put my front foot just in front of the mast ... and like you I have the mast track almost to the back of my (106 cm) board.I use two front straps & they are positioned as far forward as possible. So ... the only way I see to have my rear foot further back, would be to ride strapless with my front foot significantly further forward (there's not a lot of room available). Bottom line: I ride with a fairly narrow stance which is comfortable for me. I'm guessing if you're into jumping (& of course racing) a wider stance gives you more control & leverage.

Yeah, once you find the balance point you can put your feet side by side over it, facing forward and pretend like you are skiing...
It's not exactly a trick, but fun to try in easy conditions.

I spread out my stance more the faster I go . Probably need more leverage to control pitch at speed .
Side by side feet is really hard . Definitely a trick in my opinion . A rad one . Fun on surfboard too .
