Agree completely - keep hoping & praying Greg Drexler / BRM gets hold of some Aluula and does an Aluula Cloud !
Talked to a Slingshot rep today, they tried an Aluula UFO but it wasn’t practical. The seams are quite heavy, lots of sewing and overlap on the Aluula leading edge. On a small kite it reduces the advantage of using Aluula as the heavily seamed leading edge adds weight and a lot of expense.
They have gone for another light weight leading edge material without the cost and difficulty in manufacturing.

uh.. will a single strut aluula/hoopika kite replace 3 strut wave kites (in the future). Maybe a the stiff frame and the single strut will be enough? Or are the single strut kites made with a little too high aspect ration and therefore not ideal in waves?!

Not Aluula but whatever this is from North looks light. The canopy says “code zero”.
