Sometimes it can be a mistake to get 2 wings that are not very different and have too similar characteristics. However I think the 679 and 740 will be quite different but also complimentary to each other.
679 being low aspect and has good slow stall speed and good for carving and for underpowered conditions. 740 in contrast is high aspect and a good wing for freerace fast riding and needing a little more power (but not as much power as a full race wing like 670/671).

For a heavier riders I would also say the 633 and 800 would also be very good similar complimentary wings.

Thanks a lot for your opinion. I am looking for a faster wing, and I am 72 kg. Do you sugest me other wing better than w740? I kite always betwenn 8 and 13 knots with Alula Roam 10 m and Soul 12 m.

All of the race wings W671, W740, and W800 will be a faster than the 679 wing. The smaller wings will have faster speed but less low-end. Personally I would say either the W740 or W800 would be a good choice if you want to go fast but you're not racing.

I think the choice between the 740 and 800 is a difficult one because they're essentially the same wing just in 2 different sizes... I would perhaps lean toward the 740 as best for you though as you're only 70kg. If you were a bit heavier I would say go for the 800.

The 740 and 679/800 are NOT exactly the same design.

I have the 740 and it's almost totally flat (same as the 1110). Whilst the 800 has a lot of gull (same as the 1000). Have not seen a 679 in my hands but from the pics it looks similar with the gull design.

I would be really curious to hear if anyone has compared 740 & 800.

And yes at 70Kg definitely go 740 for speed. The flatter profile is supposed to help with speed and tracking.

I’d say upcoming 699 would be the fastest Moses wing for surf fuselage. 720 is not much faster than 679. It’s more roll stable and has slightly higher lowend, yet it’s thick and not as fast as you’d think it should be. Also it has been discontinued.

Otherwise Slingshot Phantasm 730 would be the fastest wing for Moses surf fuselage.

940 no doubt! It's has really good low end but yet so fast, same AR as 800.

Thanks everyone. I think w740 is the best option.

What about if we compare Sabfoil w740 (702 cm2),... with RDB wing 730 cm2, has anyone tried both? what do you think about the difference?

THanks

Maybe someone can compare 740 vs 800 who kited on both of them?
