Wind range? Kite

Swell size…..wing

Round the Great Lakes it’s all small waves so one wing many kites.

If your in the ocean I could see needing smaller wings

Sorry for not explaining Will
Díd not Walton to hijack other post.
I ride a hydrofoil gong curve m 1100cm wing and fast stab. Im 70 kilos.
Great low and médium
Hydrofoil speeds but when gong faster gets uncomfortable.
I ride7m 12 to 18 knots of wind and 5m 17 kn up . In the swell +speed, increases the front wing pressure. Would i ride more confortable With a small 4m or a smaller 800cm frontal wing.? Or both? Im have kiting OCD. Thanks

A bigger front wing and smaller kites, will give you way more range.

Because you can start earlier, and when wind picks up the wing has drag so it does not accelerate - meaning too much power and speed.

Only thing is, when you feel it lifts too much (assume it is the Curve M you got, the smallest), maybe you have to get a thinner wing, or smaller, for your 70 kg.

But if you did not have this issue - bigger wing smaller kite gives you more range as said, a lot in my experience.
Do you use the smallest possible stab?
That will also make the foil a lot more fun, and remove the front foot pressure.

But at your weight I assume you are using the 210-220 cm2 stab?
