moses 683s does it float or sink?

Postby mar menor » Sat Apr 09, 2022 9:11 am

Have the onda 91 with 633 but going to get a 679 or 683s . I read somewhere (can't recall ) that the 'older' 683s was heavier and would sink slowly. If this is correct I would op for that as my current set up is a floating foil , would prefer a sinking foil now as body dragging up wind when I have to recover the board is a PITA . Thanks in advance.

My first 633 was quite heavier than the second one and didn’t float on the side at all.
My first 683s was a little bit heavier than my friend’s 683s which was made later (and than my 679)

In any case, none of 683s/679 floated on the side - there’s less volume in those wings
