Hey guys,
I am told from the local shop that phantasm setup is more “durable” and rugged than others. I am currently riding a old beat up hoverglide foil with aluminum mast and h2 wing. At the point now where I can consistently ride around without falling and doing jibes ext.
Now thinking of upgrading my setup. It would be a very large investment for me to get a phantasm setup and would need it to last me for many years. But I have read that it is pretty heavy for a carbon setup. It’s strange they don’t specify the weight of the foils.
Anyways I guess my question is, is It really worth the upgrade to say a phantasm carbon mast and 633 setup, or would a new hoverglide fkite v5 be comparable for roughly a months rent less. Do you know the weight difference?
Thanks

The heavy Pm mast makes it universal for winging.
If you don't plan to wing or racestyle kitefoil, there is imho no need to pay the bill.
If you think about light & premium have a look at Ketos.
A bit cheaper and also stiff is the new Moses Kraken.
Budget: RL Orca rlboards.com, or Gong
