It sounds like the 101 is stronger than the 111. I haven't seen a 101 break.
The 101 is not as stiff , it could be the flex takes more load away from the fuselage connection point of the mast
However the 111 rides significantly better due to the stiffness.

I would debate that the 111 is stiffer than 101. There are limits to the length you can get with the foil profile not getting thick. I believe 111 is near the limit....and with a similar chord and construction method it would have more flex due to length. Not based on actual measurement.

What kind of bolts are people using? Any recommended materials, manufacturers or sources? I just sheared three bolts - The setup is only as strong as it’s weakest link.
